Orchard Garden

The Orchard Garden  is a grassy piece of land containing fruit trees and shrubs. It is adjacent to The Glebe Field and the Tennis Club and is owned by the Village and run by Trustees. (The Orchard Garden Committee) It is a registered Charity. A number of fundraising events are held throughout the year, with a regular bedding plants sale held on a Saturday morning in mid May, plants being supplied by Riverside Nurseries of Linton. A live music event featuring local artists is also held in the Autumn, with a licenced bar and dancing.

The committee arrange for the garden to be maintained by local gardener Richard Sparling and carry out clearing and pruning themselves in working parties when required.
We are always looking for local people to assist in this maintenance to keep the costs down.
